Posted a few music videos tonight to try and explain contemporary and mainstream culture.
I could write half a novel about the subject but i feel music is the best medium, plus I am a lazy bastard.
The money men will always steal the bits that they think are the most digestible for mainstream/normal thinking people and leave the bits that they, in there eyes, are not important, are just rubbish or gonzo/pulp for the avant garde if you like. The videos I posted are an examples of crossovers but it was Malcolm Mclaren who really understood this brother, sister relationship and just wanted them to get along.
